Pot People: The Swing

This series of work connects kinetic movement and interactions of gesture. Through childhood exploration and play along with the symbol meanings the swing represents led me to conceptualize this series of work. The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, The Event of a Thread by visual artist Ann Hamilton, and the importance of artist from the Cobra movement were important visuals in that helped me to experience and create this series.
