Mad Potters Organization

This organization is part of Augusta University and the Student Ceramic body. They do a lot of great things to ensure that students receive great learning experiences. They hose bi-annual pottery sales in order to fund trips to NCECA and to pay to have visit artist to visit the class room to perform demos, have artist talks, and even display artwork in the Mary S. Byrd Gallery. This organization always strives to give back to the community when they can. They organized an event with Tire City Pottery and provide a fun art project for the women and children of Safe Homes. And during Artzilla at the Morris Museum of Art they helped children make pinch pots. If you ever want to donate please contact Raoul Pacheco head of the Ceramics Department at > Rpacheco@aug.edu
